NEWS

PCR tests are now available at the airport every day. Web reservation is accessible anytime.

Nippon Medical School has opened the “Narita International Airport PCR Center” (hereinafter referred to as “this PCR Center”) at Narita International Airport.

We carry out PCR tests (self-financed medical care) for asymptomatic people such as those who need negative certificates when visiting overseas or employees who are required to undergo the PCR test by their company or organization.

This PCR center is the first facility in domestic airports with a PCR testing laboratory, and the certificate of result will be issued within at least 2 hours from registration.

  • It takes at least 2 hours issuing the certificate from registration of the PCR
    test (excluding re-test).
*It may take more than 2 hours to issue the certificate of testing for COVID-19, because of a rush of PCR testing orders.
  • We accept travelers without prior reservation. We can respond to last-minute needs such as sudden business trips. However, we will give priority to those who make a reservation. Please note in advance that the order in line for testing may change.
  • A negative result certificate is issued even if you take the test at a medical institution attached to Nippon Medical School (* 1) or other medical institutions (* 2).
  • Those who want to confirm their test results other than the departing customers can also take the test (Persons with symptoms or close contact suspect with COVID-19 are not allowed).
  • We issue the certificate of result (both in English and Japanese) in the format posted on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website (* 3).
  • ※1:Nippon Medical School Hospital, Musashi Kosugi Hospital, Tama Nagayama Hospital, Chiba Hokusoh Hospital, Respiratory Care Clinic

(Reservation methods and fees are different, so please ask each one beforehand)

  • ※2:Please be sure to bring a referral letter from the medical institution where you took the PCR test previously, along with the test results.

  • ※3:If you have the specific form needed for your visiting country, please bring it with you for sure.

We have built a certificate issuance system directly connected to the airport.

For the purpose of contributing to the improved convenience for travelers, this PCR Center also issues a negative result certificate of the PCR test taken at the medical institutions attached to Nippon Medical School.

For PCR tests performed at a particular medical institution, please check with each one.
